This is a very good book, a must have, my mom raised me according to this book in rep. of Georgia, it was translated in many languages. Great book.

I used one of the earlier editions in the 60's. The editions have been updated throughout all these years and Dr. The underlying theme is that the mother's own instincts should be trusted and are usually right for the baby. But when I needed some information and support, I could always look in this all encompassing book and find what I wanted very quickly. Spock is now gone, but the underlying basis and wonderful approach remains. This book is a must for all first time mothers.

My daughter already is quoting Dr. Since I raised my children on Dr. Spock to me. Spock I had to buy a copy for my daughter who is a new mother. Updated for today's parents, it is bigger and even better. I recommend it for all parents. Great advice not just for raising new babies but children of all ages.

This is the 3rd edition of this book I have obtained. I had a new one for each of my children, now this one is for my grandchild. Great reference book to have on hand.
